Well~ came back from a long weekend...

checked into Studio M Hotel for my birthday!

Thanks to all my friends who have attended. =D

Had some unhappy issues with the hotel but now that they offered a full refund,

I'm a happy gal! =D

Incident that brings back my memories

Well... my mum just came into my room...

asking abt an incident that happens many years back...probably when I was just a primary 6 little kid.

my distant cousin brought me n my 2 cousins (who are siblings B&J - no..it's not ben's & jerrry) to an arcade.

I was holding on the J's hands as she was just a little gal at tt time...

and when she saw B ran ahead into the arcade...she ran too!

not noticing a step, she trip and fell dragging me down too...

I was too painful to get up...as I hit my hip against the marble floor.

then a staff from the arcade came to get J up first...

After I get up, J just kept crying...

worrying she's hurt somewhere we don't know, we together with my distant cousin brought her to some clinics nearby.

after some diagnosis, they found out that she fractured her arm...

now now...as i'm still a kid at tt time..i was shocked abt wadeva tt happened and din bother explaining abt wad happen...

so it was tot by everyone tt while we both fell, i landed on her arm...thus, fracturing her arm

well...i didn't tell anyone that i had this big patch of bruise on my hip after e fall

tt actually proves that it's impossible for me to land on her arm causing the fracture!

and if i did, my hip wouldn't get tt huge bruise and she wouldn't be able to get up before me!

tt's common sense, btw

after so many years, my idiotic cousin Z just have to comment on some old photos in front of my mum...

saying that my fat ass actually broke J's arm...

and to think my mum felt guilty tt her daughter landed on J's arm causing the fracture...

and Z's comments actually sort of hurt my mum's feelings la...

and as you guys noe...old aunties are sensitive towards such things...

so i was telling Z to have some sense in these things and be more considerate!

dun just comment on something tt he wasn't at tt scene or wasn't even part of the incident!

and there he goes saying that my mum is too sensitive and all...

and then saying tt i'm making a big fuss out of it...

well~~ if ur mum gets offended so much tt she actually came back to ask u wad happen after so many yrs...will u not get angry by this gossip mongers?

my mum was actually feeling rather bad abt this and all tt jerk has to say is this?

i seriously think tt he should reflect on his own words!

it's no wonder that he didn't manage to get a gf till date...

and congrats to him...u will most likely be dying ALONE!

stop wasting ur time thinking of setting up business...

instead...u shld reflect on why is it tt so many ppl dislike u!

It's only until recently that i realised that i've spent 90% of my time (excluding work n slp) with him..

I decide that i had enough! I neglected all my friends for you and this is what you have to say.

Fine, then to reduce conflicts.. I think we should just reduce the meet-ups. I don't wan anymore of this nonsense. Enough is enough..

Day 7:

Woke up early morning to have breakfast and quickly went off to take train to Jing An Station...

There...we took the bus to Leofoo Village...

Woke up early to pack up and all...

Day 4:
had a light breakfast in the hotel before heading out

went off to 中正纪念堂 area and had our 2nd breakfast there

soy milk and 烧饼 (韭菜)

taste damn good!!! totally hearts it!!!

Finally...time to blog on this... It's gonna be a rather long post...but I'll try to make it short n sweet ks...=D

Day 1:
woke up early in the morning~~ 4:30am

bathed, dried my hair and applied make up...

checked that everything is in the luggage...

made sure i brought my passport... (note: i kept having nightmares that i forgot to bring my passport =X)

waited for dearie to call when he and his parents r reaching my house...

reached Changi Airport Terminal 3 at around 6.30am...

boyfriend was still half awake...

Queued up to check-in my luggage...

We got our air tickets!!~~

Had breakfast @ Delifrance in transit...

Bad news: I had throat inflammation & was a bit feverish...

Damn~~ went to buy some medicine from watsons before we proceed to the gate..

Long wait till boarding time means camwhore time!

Reached Taipei Taoyuan International Airport @ 1:20pm

Was feeling hungry and so we went to had lunch...

Their airport was so lor kok...they only have restaurants and eateries at the departure hall..

so we went up to the departure side to have our "lunch"

side dishes that comes with any main course we ordered.

boyfriend ordered some noodles...

i ordered some porridge cos i'm seriously sick~~ first time i see corn flakes on porridge.

had some yoghurt after the meal...

After lunch... went to get the bus tickets to Taipei City...

the tickets...

boarded the bus. Dropped off at Shuang Lian Station and flagged a cab to our hotel...

BTW, we stayed in Ambience Hotel.

A rather new boutique hotel there...whole building and rooms are all in white.

rather good service, reasonable price too... $2800NTD per night...inclusive of breakfast

they had free laundry services too...

Went to Taipei Main Station area to comb for cheap stuff..

Didn't manage to buy alot cos we're rather lost for the 1st day...

And being sick decreases my sense of direction...=(

though still manage to find a few shops on my list...

bought some cosmetics and skincare from 六福化妆品 @ 重庆北路一段26巷15号

i jux gave the lady there my whole list and they took the things accordingly...

went to 千千饰品 @ 华阴街191号 for some accessories...

bought a necklace for myself and sihui and a bling bling star hairband for myself.

Went to the hello kitty shop there and bought a charmmy kitty calculator there...

After some shopping there...went over to 师大夜市

Saw the watsons there and head in to buy more cosmetics and skincare~~ =X

As i'm still sick and it's raining...we decided to da bao some street snacks back for dinner...

Pick some items jux like yong tau hu...but they use some 卤汁 instead of the normal soup...
then had their mee suan and 鱿鱼羹... and bought some refreshing drink too~~

Day 2:
woke up rather early...cos e sky is already brightened up at 6am!~~

Had our breakfast @ the hotel & went off...

took the MRT to Shi Lin Station...

& took bus R30 to the National Palace Museum...

we had to conquer lots of stairs to reach the exhibition halls

the exhibition there is rrly nice...

the ancient paintings...books...ceramics...

saw the jade bai cai also...

it's rrly gorgeous!!!

after which...went up to Yang Ming Shan...since we're already at the foot of it already...

took cab up the mountain... asked the driver to drive us up to see scenery...

we're only at less than half the ht of the mountain...

It rained rather heavily as we go up...

causing all this thick fog...

we gave up when the driver told us 挚天岗 is even further up and rain is expected to be heavier...

expected that there's gonna be thicker fog...hence we gave up and went for lunch...

i saw 4 bottles floating in the pool in e morning...and the rest lying arnd in the living room...

i din get a chance to take pictures of the party aftermath as we rush to clear the things before the check out time of 12noon...

and oh ya~ we saw the upcoming roller coaster in sentosa...

it's AWESOME!!!

crazily high and lots of turns and drops every where...

i'm looking forward to it...

after checking out...cheng drove us to vivo...

had long john for lunch...

and he sent all of us home...

Well...spent the whole day watching some shows...

well...we checked in to Naumi Hotel once again on Sunday..

reached there at 1pm...when we can only checked in at 2pm...

but we managed to get our rooms before 1.30pm...

a pity tt their Wii and xBox 360 is not available...aww...

we head right to the pool after unpacking...

it's a damn hot weather but we're damn cold swimming amongst the winds at the rooftop~~brrbb

swimming up there is damn shiok! with a super pretty scenery!!!

after e swim...head back to the room to change and went off to the gym...

it's been quite awhile since i exercise...well...

it's time for me to burn off the fats accumulated!!

wanted to view the fireworks at the roof pool initially...

but Naumi has this event 50++ per pax to view fireworks up there and enjoy free flow house pours and finger food..

way too much for us...and since esplanade is so near...we decided to go there...

dinner at Ion's newly opened Swensens...

new menu...and yes! frozen yoghurt!!

so happy that swensens finally put the frozen yoghurt that is only available in Earle's Swensens into their normal outlets too!!!

wanted to try their new ice cream and dessert buffet!

but but but...we didn't print the 1-for-1 promotional emailer...

so decided to try it another time~~

while heading to esplanade...

it's DAMN CONGESTED!!!

it seems like 1/4 of the singaporeans are heading there la!!~!~~

well...we're quite lucky...

the moment we got there...the helicopters carrying the singapore flag fly past...

waited almost an hr there...while playing DS with dearie..

heard some commotion and turned around...saw 2 monkeys climbing up the tree...

tot is some bhanglas...but on a closer look...2 ang mohs...

lolx...i tot only bhanglas do such stunts...

and here comes uncle policemen to ask them to come down...

Gawk...look at the amount of ppl...in front of me...

and behind me...

And finally fireworks are UP!!!

left after the fireworks stop...but half way thru our walk...fireworks up again!

bet it's after the pledge ceremony~~

stayed to watch till the end and head back to hotel...

well...back in office today...hectic day...first day of parallel testing...

gonna book air tickets and hotel stay tomorrow!!~

星光５班選手２日起連續４周進入踢館賽考驗，新加坡電視台StarHub也與《超級星光大道》合作，選出４名選手來台踢館，年僅15歲的蔡艾珈表現驚人，上半場先淘汰胡采書，又讓楊駿文高分落入失敗區，黃智陽則PK掉王璿。

新加坡踢館軍團來勢洶洶，蔡艾珈５歲學習歌唱，外型可愛，殺傷力十足，演唱張韶涵〈不痛〉時，甫開口就震撼全場，讓對手胡采書慌了陣腳，評審評他到了Ｂ段，才找回原本唱歌聲音，最後遭淘汰。

打下胡采書後，下半場蔡艾珈再對上楊駿文，25分的滿分表現嚇壞５班所有選手，楊駿文演唱〈曲終人散〉時忘詞。獲第三場晉級資格，蔡艾珈表示最想挑戰徐詠琳，「她是所有選手年紀最小的，我也是４個人中最小的，這樣比較公平。」蔡艾珈下戰帖，徐詠琳不正面迎戰，她說尊重抽籤賽制，如果抽到她，她欣然接受。來自新加坡的黃智陽也連過兩關，下半場以純熟工整的唱功PK掉王璿。

1st August 2008 - the day we officially got together...after confessing to each other for quite awhile..=X

1st August 2009 - the day where we have got together for 1 whole yr...and...we're still together! =D

And on this day...we decided to play to our hearts filled in... ZOO!!!

kekex...been quite awhile since my last visit...

during my last visit...ah meng was still arnd...but not anymore...

anyway...woke up early to prepare...

dearie bought me breakfast and we left soon after...

reached the zoo @ abt 11am...

lots of ppl due to some company's family day...

as usual...animals everywhere la...

we managed to catch the elephant's show in time...but we have to stand lo...

then had lunch @ KFC in the kidzworld...

super long queue there...and mayb becoz of e crowd...their food all damn fresh and nice!

went to the kampung hse after lunch and saw some scary wax figures and also some cutie animals...

small chicks...crickets...white rats...kekex...quite cute...though scary~~

then we had our fun at the rainforest challenge and play the (i dunno what's tt call) flying-fox alike thing...

kekex...been a long time since i played that!

then we went to see the GIANT rabbits!! they're rrly huge...

but cute too! =D

afterwhich...we went to catch the splash safari show...

penguins...manatee...sealion...

all so cute la...kekex!~

we caught a mummy trying to teach baby to swing on these!

proceeded to australian outback...not in luck today...

kangaroos are not in e mood to leave the fence...

e last time i go...they're out of the fences and scared the hell out of me when they tried to get close!

we took our ht with the polar bear!!!

hmmm...walked alot today...had lots of fun...though both of us r tired out!~~

thank you for walking thru this past 1 yr with me...

making sure i'm constantly in happiness though we did quarrel at times...=X

thank you for being there when i'm broken up into pieces...and thanks for piecing me up again...

hahax...but we did have fun la...

it's damn entertaining...with Rach,Diya,Zhi Yang and Yutaki's performances and lots of free food and drinks...=D

why did i look so crap? coz the 2 of them is squeezing me!!!

It's been so long since me and my dear dear went pak to-ing...hahax...

went out with him ytd...to watch his fren at the cosfest @ downtown east...

met up with peishi for awhile...

then we had our fun playing pool and arcade...

then we went down to airport for popeyes!~!

kekex...it's being long since i had it...

went shopping arnd in e airport...

bought a very long after eight choco...for $15 bucks!!

quite worthwhile...considering the small ones costs $4-5 each and this long one is arnd 5 times longer!!!

then i bought quite a few items at body shop...dear dear bought an relaxing eye mask then can be cooled or heated de!!

hahax...opps...and i bought some nougats for me n mummy at e candy empire there!!

well...it's great to shop at e airport coz it's gst free!! it's cheaper than the town outlets! =D

So...today...was the last day of the hokaido fair...

after lunch and some shows...went down to tampines mall to buy some yummies!!

bought the manju cakes...10 custard and 5 red beans...bought some dried cod fish with sesame!!

then dear dear bought crouquettes...curry bun and caramel with salt croissants made by Japan's TV Champion!!

he bought some cheesecake steaks as well...

hahax...we spent quite alot la...considering the fact tt japan food is seriously not cheap at all!

well...it's still nice to spend some money on good food once in awhile~~ =D

She did damn well for a gal at 15 competing with adults on stage!!!

met up with the 08 cliques to celebrate our dear siHUH's 21st birthday...

vivocity for some shopping...but neither of us bought anything...

wanted to have dinner @ marche but queue was long and service at reception was lousy...

switched to white dog's cafe...

got our seats for 10...good food and all...

food was not bad...=)

after that...we went outdoors to open e champagne li te bought for sihui...

but our dear gal cant seem to pop it la...

in e end...it ends up wif li te againx...=)

went to st james' bar none...

but it's far to early...live band wasn't here yet...

so end up we jux order a bottle of moet & chandone...

after finishing up...left for dempsey's ben's & jerry...

din like ice cream...so had smoothie nia...

it's a nice place with live music on fri & sat nights...=)

so we ended the day there lo...

might as well study now...

took an hr's time off today and knock off at 4.30pm...

dearie has been waiting for me downstairs le...sweating like hell...

e heatwave lately is horrendous!

even me...started sweating and feeling sticky...though i'm known for almost not sweating at all...

took the train down to tampines...

yupx yupx...we're gonna hit the latest shopping mall...Tampines 1

a big place to shop at...lots of stuffs there...din buy any though...

went to uniqlo...but wasn't what i expected...

i dun see anything tt i like to e extent of wanting to buy them...

end up nothing was bought...=.=

had dinner at FISH by fish & co...

had their feather & fins platter...shared between me n dearie...

the salad isn't fantastic at all...

had their crispy silver fish too...

overall...not bad =)

dessert @ frolick...

frozen yoghurt...i hearts them...

but frolick made me banned them in e future...

bad service with ah lians with bad attitude and face...=x

like couldn't be bothered with us and totally no patience!

then their yoghurt doesn't tast nice at all!

choice of toppings so darn limited!

a thumbs DOWN for them totally...

not worth spending ur money on tt at all!

walked arnd a lil more...then went hm...

Bought 1.3kg Durian Mousse Cake; 4 slices durian crepes; 8 slices durian crepes; 6 pcs durian puffs x2; 20 pcs durian puffs x2...

So I treat the 1.3 kg cake as my birhday cake of the day and cut it! It's super yummy lo!!

And my dear sihui came down almost at 12 midnight just to pass me additional prezzies!

Dear dear brought me to Sun with Moon Japanese Dining @ Central today for dinner!

Total damage: Uncountable

Food was not bad, good service, nice ambience and view!

Then, rushed down to SG Flyer to catch our booking at 8pm.

It's a great experience but mayb I wont spend on that again. Nothing much...

Just nice scenery...

my dearie gave me a surprise today!!!

he got off at 2 plus today...yet din tell me...

then appear after my work at my office to bring me out for dinner!!!

we went to bugis de Ma Maison this time...

it's more spacious there...though lack of e nice scenery we have @ clarke quay

their menu is more extensive there too...

this time...we order:

Escargots!!! first time eating it and it's damn yummy!

our must-order! their clam chowder! still as yummy!

i order the gratin with prawn and scallop.. smells nice and taste nice too!

1st time was at changi airport t2 transit...when i'm doin my intern there...

walked rrly damn long!

acer one requires cash or nets payment...

so dear dear chose the samsung 23.6" instead..

graphic qualities...nice!

not bad for watching movies...but abit too big for surfing net!

then he got a sonic gear speakers as well...

so there we go...dragging tt huge trolley down to grab a cab..

we're at e end of the queue actually...

then the security guard asked us to queue in 2 lines...

so in e end...in less than 10 mins time...we're in the front and got into a cab!

Faceless Creature? O.O

Well, it has been a while since my blog encounters such childish acts.

Someone who dared not show his/her real name or whatsoever, actually commented on my command of english? *Laughs* It's just up to me whether I wanted to use informal language or formal ones. I doubt that faceless creature understands what it meant by a personal blog? Though it may be open to the public, but that doesn't mean that I should adhere to the usage of language. This is MY blog. I prefer things to be kept simple and casual. Thus, I don't see the need of standard english here.

At the very least, I can switch from casual language to formal ones just like that. Unlike someone like the faceless creature, who can be so inflexible in the command of languages.

I don't see the point in his/her comments as well. As someone reaching age 21, who has been through such nonsense in my, let me think, secondary school life, this creature seems to be way out of my age range. Generation gap, I would say. Either too much older, or too much younger, trying to seek attention from writing such comments.

I don't know who that creature was and I don't wish to know.

Thus, let us just allow him/her or even "it" to indulge in the little, tiny, narrow world he/she is in. =)

i spent my valentine's with someone special...

not bad afterall...still got jacuzzi...=D

well...had my health screening this morning...

had to fast 8 hrs before e check up...

din had breakfast...was feeling rather giddy all e way until i get to eat something...

hmmm...blood pressure low as usual...

i grew taller by 2 cm!~ it's been round down actually...i'm officially 154 now!

but...but...but...

i'm 40 kg now la... =( *sniffx*

hmmm...blood test not a problem to me...

but e after effect damn shiong...

hand is like no strength one lo...=.=

hmmm...influx period coming...

can feel e increase of applications...

normally one day i 20 nia...
